Info:

This camp is more exclusive this year. We do not have as many options due to instructors availability. We recommend you book your camp quickly. We will cancel camps June 1st that do not have any enrollment.

Camp is limited to 12 participants per group and only Full Week Registration is available. We meet our students at their own level and provide instruction to every level. The students learn more and more each day advancing their skills on the water. By the end of the week they will be confident in paddle boarding as well as yoga on the boards. Camp consists of Paddle Board Instruction in a safe way while also offering more challenging paddle adventures as the week progresses. We take our students around the Point Loma Marina on many adventures. We do go across the Marina and venture in to the Bay and explore the water a lot. If parents or students are uncomfortable with that in any way this camp is not for you and we recommend one of our Studio camps. Siblings or friends may share a board and instructor will attach beginners to their boards so students are not floating on their own out on the water. By the 3rd or 4th day students may be able to un attach and paddle solo. We meet each student at their own level and will cater to their specific needs. We do ask and require that our paddle camp students are comfortable on water, are self sufficient and will listen and follow directions easily at all times. For the safety of the group we are not able to have students who will not listen to the instructor or be a disruption.

Tuition: 1 Week Half Day $375 (10% off active students, 10% off 2nd siblings)- all equipment included.

Location: This camp is located in Liberty Station in the Point Loma Marina. The water is very calm. We rent our equipment from West Coast Paddle (previously known as SUP Connection).

-Is there a sibling discount?  Yes, every additional sibling receives 10% off (1st child regular rate).

-Are refunds offered? Refunds are not offered

-What happens if my child is sick and cannot attend camp? Typically if we get at least at least a 24hr notice we can transfer the camp over to a different week. However, if we receive notice the morning of camp we offer a 50% credit which needs to be redeemed up to 3 months towards retail or camps. The credit can not be applied to tuition. We do our best to make it work for our families but camps fill up and space is limited.

-What if we miss a day during our week of camp? We are not able to transfer "days" to a different week of camp and we are not able to offer a make up camp. 

-How many kids do you have in a camp? For Del Mar Studio Camps- 7 . Liberty Station Studio Camp- 8, Paddle Board Yoga Camp- 12.

-What are the Covid- 19 Precautions/policies?

Drop Off/ Pick Up: Adults & Staff must wear a mask for drop off and pick up. Staff and students temperatures are checked with no touch instant read thermometer. Adults must drop off child at front door. Only students and staff are allowed inside the studio at this time unless of a special circumstance or emergency.

6ft Distance & What to expect: We will welcome your child in and sanitize their hands. There will be special place stickers to place their mats on to ensure the 6ft distance. All personal items need to stay home/out of the studio other than water bottle and yoga mat- no toys or stuffed animals. Students will come in, find a place sticker, put their mats down, take their shoes off and put their shoes and water bottle behind their yoga mat. Teachers will mainly be on their mats using verbal cues for art , yoga and activities. Teachers will not offer "hands on assists/adjustments" at this time unless it's a matter of need or safety. Art supplies and/or yoga props will not be shared between students and art will be done at the yoga mats for now or spaced out accordingly at the art tables for 6ft distance. Each student will have their own supplies. For pick up- please make a line outside using the place markers and we will have your child come out one at a time. For the older students they may come out to you once they see you. Camp sizes are 8 Kids max.

Masks: Children/students are NOT required to wear a mask. If you prefer to have your child wear a mask you may do so. Teachers are not responsible for making sure children wear masks. Teachers will wear a mask during drop off and pick up. Under the county health order teachers are exempted from the requirement to wear masks. We for see our teachers taking the mask off during the yoga portion as they are on their mats keeping 6ft distance. There is a huge social and emotional benefit for your child to see their teachers face. I have left it up to my teachers if they prefer to use a mask or not during classes.

Sanitation: We will adhere to all the sanitation protocols and guidelines. Studio and shared spaces as well as art supplies, props or anything handles by teachers or students will be sanitized after each class.

We will be adhering to all the other guidelines and regulations set in place for us to open safely which will be posted at the studio on the windows. Teachers and students need to be healthy. If anyone in your family or anyone you have been in contact with have been exposed to or sick with covid-19 everyone in your family are required to stay at home.

We will mail you a bundle of art supplies for the camp. 4 Camps for $140, $120 for members (actively enrolled in a weekly “class”). Once you enroll in our parent portal we will email you the private link for virtual camp and information on how to prepare for yoga & art camp each week.
